FAQs

  • I suggest scheduling your newborn session within your 2nd or 3rd trimester. While last minute openings may be possible, it’s best to schedule before delivery to ensure availability.

  • The most asked question!

Babies come on their own time and due dates aren’t always accurate. By booking your newborn session, you are reserving my availability for the entire month you are due. This is important as I only take on 5 newborn sessions per month.

We will schedule you based on your due date but won’t decide on an actual session date until baby is here and you are settled at home.

  • I like to photograph newborns within 7-21 days of arrival. This time frame is typically when they’re the sleepiest and most posable.

However — if baby ends up in the Nicu or mama isn’t quite up to it yet, sessions can be done at a later date as well. You & babies health are most important.

  • Bring baby & their necessities and leave the rest put to me!

I provide wraps, headwear (bonnets/bows/flower crowns), accessories, felted teddy bears & other cute things for baby to hold (ask me if you’re looking for something specific). You are also welcome to bring any special items you would like to incorporate into the session.

  • The full package will give you individual newborn photos (in props and on a flokati / posing table), family photos, individual photos with mom, individual photos with dad, sibling photos (if applicable), and of course those detailed shots.

Please note, I always go into sessions with a plan BUT the baby is the boss. The type of props I use and poses I do will depend on baby. No two babies are the same and some may favor different props and wrapping styles than another. I will never force baby into a pose.

  • I GET IT! Life is busy and the days slip away from us. I try my best to make last minute openings possible, e-mail to inquire.
