Q: What type of photography do you do?
A: Family photography is my thing! I offer newborn, milestone, maternity, and family sessions. I also occasionally offer family mini sessions 1-2 times per year.
Q: how do i book a session and when is payment due?
A: You can inquire about booking through e-mail, Facebook/Instagram, or via my “contact” page. Once we confirm a date, I will send you a link to my booking website where a small questionnaire will need to be completed as well as a signed contract and a $50 nonrefundable retainer made to hold your spot! Final payment is due 1 day prior to your session.
Q: What is your turnaround time?
A: I usually have sneak peeks posted on social media within 1-2 days and full galleries are typically delivered within 2 weeks.
Q: how are photos delivered?
A: Photos are uploaded to an online gallery and the link is sent to you via e-mail. From there you can download your photos and order prints from wherever you choose!
PRINTING TIP: Not all photo printing companies offer the same quality prints. I have a few different high quality + professional printing labs I can suggest if requested!
Q: do your packages include images?
A: All packages include digital images (see package info for amount). I select the best images from the session and hand edit them. I do not have any type of add ons, your session fee is the only fee you will pay.
Q: do you give out raw/unedited images?
A: I will under no circumstances give out raw or unedited images. My photos represent my business therefore I only give out completely edited photos to ensure my work is being displayed properly. I ask that you do not apply a filter or preset over my images or edit them yourself in any way. Because of this, I highly recommend you take a look at my portfolio before booking your session to ensure we are on the same page as far as editing styles!
Q: how do you choose which photos to deliver?
A: I deliver the best images from the session in terms of lighting, posture, facial expressions, etc. Sometimes the beauty of the image cannot be seen until images are fully edited, therefore I chose which images to deliver myself.
Q: WILL MY PHOTOS BE USED ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
A: I like to use photos from my sessions for advertisement purposes on social media. I may also use photos for my portfolio on my website. Your privacy is important to me so please let me know if you are uncomfortable with any of this!
Q: any tips on helping my children cooperate?
A: I strive to capture your little one’s personality so I try to make my sessions fun for them. I don’t aim for stiff and overly posed pictures. There will be tickling, there will be dancing, and there will be playing! Studio sessions will always accommodate a little time for them to warm up and I will have toys available to make them relax and feel comfortable.
Q: do you have any props?
A: Yes! Almost everything you see in my photos is my own and I supply props for every session. Newborn sessions will always get full access to any of my newborn clothing, swaddles, wraps, and/or bows + headbands! I am also in the process of building a small women’s client closet!
